Survey Of Cyber Attack Detection Strategies -Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Survey Of Cyber Attack Detection Strategies? Answer: Introducation People have made their life easier by using the benefits of advances in technology, due to which, the usage of internet is at its best. On the one hand where there are various benefits of the internet usage, there are some privacy issues also that are related to it among which ethical issues and the behavior of the internet users are the prime ones (Stahla et al., 2014). When it comes to primary schools, the cyberbullying has a great catch over the ethical issues which needs to be considered by the researchers to provide safe information and communication technology to the schools. The investigation includes serious topics like cybercrime, internet frauds, cyberbullying, hacking of networks, and much more (Spiekermann, 2015). Analysis of ICT Ethical Issues The internet is a vital part of information and communication technology that has become quite important in the day-to-day life to make the hectic communication easy with various offers it serves with (Floridi, 2010). Although, it gives a great positive impact; it also contains some negative impact of the internet which is considered to be unethical regarding the confidentiality and accessibility of the information. Following are some of the ethical considerations that should be known. Copyright: One needs to mark the word copyright while downloading any file from the internet. This has become quite common currently which needs to be followed in proper conduct. However, if it is downloaded without permission, it would violate the regulations set by the authorities (Rainer et al., 2013). Files like documents, music, eBooks, software, applications, etc. are found to be downloaded with ease in nearly all the countries and this act is labeled as unethical. Although this act has not been given due significance as it has not yet harmed the cyber economy of any country (Holt and Bossler, 2015). This practice is widely performed while sharing files through the internet without any hindrance as people mostly look for free options rather than paying for them. Hacking: Hacking is another illegal action performed by the students of the primary schools that damages the protocol and steals the confidential information in cyberspace. The process of hacking includes aspects like classifying the information, stealing confidential information like passwords, credit card details, and much more (Stahla et al., 2014). This activity is widely processed when the computers are common or accessible. Such activity takes place when the hackers are able to drive another persons concentration through their attractive traps. There are students who have the passion to become professional hackers, and hence they commit illegal protocols (Reynolds, 2011). A good example of this issue was seen in 2014 when 14 branches of the Affin Bank, Bank Islam, and Al Rajhi Bank were hacked through their ATMs by a hacking gang. Cyber Bullying : Cyber bullying is an illegal act that is carried by harassing individuals with the help of internet. The act has grabbed various primary school students resulting in the destruction of their psychological condition (Spiekermann, 2015). This result turns to be hilarious when the user is having no idea about cyber bullying and fails to protect himself/herself against it (Floridi, 2010). The act also includes irritation caused by speeches that scare people and frustrate them. The primary school girls are the prime victims of cyber bullying where they are delivered with threatening messages or voice messages that hinder their privacy. The common result seen in various students is changing the school, and the worst result of such bullying is the commitment to suicide by the victim (Whitman and Mattord, 2012). Data Privacy: Everyday, the internet is used to store various files and data that can be counted in a million gigabytes. When it comes to maintaining this data, the privacy of the same has been of crucial concern. The Internet contains various personal data of the people that is quite sensitive (Laudon, 2016). When an individual looks forward to any deals or rights on the internet, they are generally asked to go through the agreement that is labeled under the privacy policy of the users right and data privacy terms (Raiyn, 2014). The policy helps to know which portion of the data can be used and modified by the authorities. Reasons Behind Copyright Violations Here are some situations and causes that lead to violations regarding the copyright laws. Having insufficient knowledge about the topic that encourages plagiarism. Lack of information about the results of copying copyrighted materials. Not declaring the terms of the copyright on the website (Reynolds, 2011). High price of the legitimate sellers on the internet which leads to piracy. Lack of enforcement of laws properly for protection of intellectual property data. Hacking as Common Act When it comes to cybercrime, hacking has been the most common one, that has resulted in the increase of fraud cases. The hackers generally try to trap the internet user for gaining maximum information from them. Hacking through credit cards is a widely observed crime around the world; as nearly 90% of the total credit card users are found carrying online transactions. Here are some reasons that convert the users into victims of hackers: File sharing and downloading has been observed to be the primary reason as to why hackers are progressing as it is easily carried by an unprotected download of programs, codes, etc. through pen drive downloading and file sharing. Another way the hackers are progressing are attractive traps like phishing, email spams, etc. that allows the hackers to use the private data of the internet user (Whitman and Mattord, 2012). Hacking has hence, become a widely spread crime due to the system bugs or the carelessness of the cyber authorities. The lack of updating of the systems is also a major reason that makes it easy for the hackers to perform their activities (Heersmink, 2011). Reasons Behind Cyberbullying The major reason behind the cyber bullying is the increased use of social media, mostly by the children that lead to psychological harm. Here are some reasons for the increase in cyber bullying: The increase of feelings like anger, frustration, or revenge developing in teenagers leads to cyber bullying. Unawareness of proper use of personal information on social networks resulting in harassment by bad people. Too much interaction with strangers resulting to bullying or blackmailing. Conclusion and Solutions to the Internet Problems All the disasters regarding the internet occur due to improper maintenance of cyber ethical issues along with workplace ethics (Floridi, 2010). No doubt the speed of the communication through the internet has given many benefits, there are events where it is misused also. However, proper control over all these measures can also limit the cyber crimes which can be carried as follows: Prevention to a violation of copyright: The promotion of open source campaigning to various universities would help to control the plagiarism to a great extent. The more the students and the public get to know about it; the more piracy would be controlled (Stahla et al., 2014). Generate awareness among the people not to use pirated games, as this would discourage the owners in their work. Putting the illegal download movies under the banned section and implementation of laws properly along with the proper promotion (Rainer et al., 2013). Design a free software with limitations for music, images, etc., along with a paid software. Solutions for hacking problems: Increase the use of anti-virus programs to avoid malicious programs to prevent from hacking. Using different passwords to sign in while using various websites that require registration (Raiyn, 2014). Clearing the cookies after browsing the internet for making the computer user safe. Increase in campaigns to limit credit card hacking, websites, etc. Look before using any kind of free Wi-Fi to avoid the unpleasant results. Prevention of cyber bullying: Counselling the students to be open to parents and guardians to avoid any kind of frustration. Campaigns to help them in using their private information on the internet to avoid bullying. Reference Floridi L. 2010. The Cambridge Handbook of Information and Computer Ethics. Social Studies George Meade Do You Know Who Was The General For The Se
social studies George Meade Do you know who was the general for the Second Battle of Bull Run? Everyone knows what the Second Battle of Bull Run is but who was the general? Some people even know that the North won that battle. Most people do not know that General George Meade defeated General Lee at that battle. General George Mead accomplished much during wartime. General George Meade had many accomplishments during wartime. First of all, he defeated General Lee at the Second Battle of Bull Run. Why would not General Meade crush General Lee at this battle and end the war there? Facts say that heavy fog and rain forced Meade to stop. Likewise, on June 1, !863 a surprise encounter forced his troops into the Battle of Gettysburg, the greatest battle on American soil. This battle came about when General Lee's army needed shoes. The two forces met here on accident and fought to a victory for the North. Lee acknowledged his defeat and retreated to Virginia. Not only did Meade serve in the Civil War, but also served in the Mexican War. He served in the battles of Palo Alto, Monterey, and Veracruz. During these he served under General Zachory Taylor. To sum up, General George Meade accomplished many things during his time at war. Each of General George Meade's accomplishments had one major effect on how life is today. To start, if Meade had not defeated Lee at the Second Battle of Bull Run the war would not have started off positively for the North. This was important because the soldiers gained their confidence when they won this battle. If the North would have lost the entire war the U.S. would be two different countries. Secondly, Meade's defeat of Lee at the accidental Gettysburg. This was a battle that turned the war around and gave the North the advantage. This was the North's first victory in a long time. Finally, if the U.S. had not have won the Mexican War, Where Meade served as a soldier, the U.S. would not have gained the southwest portion of the c ountry. This ,as you remember, was where the gold rush took place that caused the country to spread out over the land. As has been shown, Meade's accomplishments had many effects on how life is lived today. There are many things that would be different if George Meade had never lived. For one thing, the North might not have won the first battle of the war causing the soldiers to lose confidence and maybe lose the war. If the South had won the war the U.S. would be split into two countries right now. Also, if the north did not the greatest battle on American soil, Gettysburg, it could have been the end of the war right there at Gettysburg. If the North would have lost the war the U.S. would be two different countries, as was said earlier. Last, if the U.S. had not won the Mexican War we would have lost some of our land to Mexico. The U.S. would have also not had the Gold Rush that took place in California. In conclusion, the country would have been very different if George Meade had never lived. Louisiana Purchase Essays - Great Plains, Midwestern United States
Louisiana Purchase Essays - Great Plains, Midwestern United States Louisiana Purchase Several great American Statesmen were pivotal in shaping and molding the government of the United States. History has since forgotten some of these founding fathers. The ones remembered throughout history are those we hold up for their accomplishments. Thomas Jefferson is one of the American Statesmen that stands out from the rest as being one of the greatest contributors to our present form of government. Historian Robert Tucker described Jefferson's life as being a paradox. He was a slave holder that was not necessarily in favor of this form of servitude. He also associated himself with the yeoman farmer, yet he traveled in company with a cosmopolitan flair. So it is to this President that we look to as he faced one of his greatest dilemmas. Jefferson, the third President of the United States, remembered primarily for two great accomplishments: he authored the Declaration of Independence and made the greatest land acquisition in our nation's history, the Louisiana Purchase. Both subjects, have been written about extensively, yet one question persists: did Thomas Jefferson exceed his fiduciary duty to the Constitution of the United States when he started the proceedings that led to the Louisiana Purchase? Thomas Jefferson was a pragmatic, articulate, and, at times, capricious leader of a young nation that had recently gained its freedom from the monarchical Great Britain. Jefferson, a Democratic Republican, made his ascension to the presidency at a time when the Federalist Party was in decline. The Louisiana Purchase would bring a great deal of discomfort to the Party. The only opposition to the purchase would consequently be the Federalist Party which, ironically, had always been in favor of a broad construction of the Constitution. The broad constructionist believed that the Constitution held implied powers to the central government. The people who interpreted the Constitution in this fashion backed the notion of strong centralization of power. The strict constructionist, like Jefferson, believed that if something in the Constitution was not described then it was unconstitutional. They also feared the abuse of power obtainable by the central government by a broad interpretation of the Constitution. Since 1493, France and Spain alternately held the Louisiana Territory. Towards the end of the 18th century the jurisdiction of the territory was under Spanish rule. New troubles were brewing on the European continent and the Americans feared that the Louisiana Territory would fall into the hands of the British. This would place the British on three sides of the Americans and they were prepared to go to war to avoid this. The Spaniards, uncertain of their British ally and fearing an insurrection from within the Louisiana Territory, signed the Treaty of San Lorenzo or Pinckney's Treaty with the Americans in 1795. Under terms of the treaty, Americans were allowed to deposit goods for overseas shipment at the port of New Orleans free of duty. The Spanish also ceded control of the Ohio River Valley to the Americans. This pleased the majority of Americans who were in favor of westward expansion, many of who were by now settling illegally in the Louisiana Territory. Securing the Mississippi River for commercial purposes was of the greatest importance to most Americans at the time. The desired peace of the country to be protected from outside interference was also the goal of those in favor of expansion. In 1799 Napoleon Bonaparte overthrew the French government and assumed control of France and her colonies. Bonaparte was anxious to build a western empire, perhaps to make up for his previous losses in Egypt. Bonaparte saw the conquest of the Caribbean island of Santo Domingo as his first step in his western expansion efforts. From Santo Domingo the French could support troops that they intended to post in New Orleans. By early 1801 American whites made up more than half of the population in upper Louisiana. In 1802 the first migration of Americans west of the Mississippi River begun and by now the Americans looked to wrest the Louisiana Territory away from the Spanish. To this dream of conquest of the Spaniards by Americans is to what Jefferson responded. He was not alone in his supposition of the need for expansion. Indeed, the one area that Jefferson and his

It is known for its stimulating effect on the functions of the brain , thus making the drinker active . Variants of coffee flavors were already produced all throughout the world aiming for the discovery of alternative sources of coffee production . The coffee from ampalaya seeds help us to earn and save money . A. Background of the study Coffee alternatives have been famous since the last two decades due to economic crisis and experimentations for health and medical benefits. Any seeds that are edible when powdered can be used as an alternative source for coffee. The difference of the generic coffee from the seeds of the coffee plant from those of the alternatives is that it has a good amount of caffeine content. The similarity you can find in the alternatives and those of the original is that seeds contain carbohydrates which cause the aroma in roasted coffee. Ampalaya, on the other hand, is a crawling vine that grows mostly on tropical countries like the Philippines. It is said to be rich in iron, potassium, beta-carotene and other nutrients. It is also famous in treating diabetes because of its properties like polypeptide-P; a plant insulin that can lower blood sugar levels. Many researches on agricultural food chemistry convey that it provides nutritionally significant amounts of nutrients, minerals and amino acids that are needed for life. B. Objectives of the study B1. General Objectives 1. To determine if the ampalaya seeds have considerable characteristics of the products in terms of color, aroma, taste, and acidity. B2. Specific Objectives 1. To produce coffee using ampalaya seeds as the main ingredient. 2. To determine and compare the levels of acceptability of the coffee samples. C. Hypotheses NULL 1. There is no significant difference among the different ampalaya coffee samples developed in terms of their color, aroma, and taste. ALTERNATIVE 1. There is no significant difference among the different ampalaya coffee samples developed in terms of their acceptability. D. Significance of the study Momordica Charantia or ampalaya seeds contain iron and folic acid which are essential for the production of the red blood cells and the formulation of hemoglobin and myoglobin. Coffee is usually drunk hot, black or with cream and sugar and also drunk cold as iced coffee, specially summer. People are used of drinking coffee every morning to warmth their body and at night to avoid being sleepy. But coffee contains a stimulant called caffeine. The result of this will determine if the coffee made from ampalaya seeds can be use as a substitute for the commercial coffee. This study aimed to produce coffee using ampalaya seeds as substitute. The study was important because ampalaya is abundant in the Philippines. The product may be an anti-diabetes coffee but it is not the main concern of the study. Everybody can benefit of the result of the study unless a coffee drinker. It would recycle the ampalaya seeds instead of being thrown away which a lot of people consider it as waste. E. Scope and limitation The proposed study was limited to producing coffee out of ampalaya (Momordica charantia Linn. ) seeds. Three samples were prepared with different ampalaya seed concentration and same amount of water for comparison purposes in which one of the samples was pure commercial coffee. The samples were processed by the basic methods of making coffee: roasting, grinding, and brewing. Ampalaya Coffee. (2017, Mar 08).

Dicussion - Assignment Example In that case, then the law and the government in general may put limits to bringing out such issues when it enforces laws against expression of religious controversies. On the contrary, some religious behaviors and practices may become a threat to the society and general relationships of people holding different religious views in the same society. For example, people from different religions may hold too much from their religious beliefs to an extent that they do not try to understand the essence of other peopleââ¬â¢s religions (Washingtonpost, 2007). This may result in conflicts based on religious aspect and views among people in the society. Therefore, cases like clashes and other religious wrangles may erupt which poses a threat to the well being of the society. For example, cases like terrorism may be due to extreme religious behaviors among certain individuals in a society. The government therefore, needs to consider other peopleââ¬â¢s opinions and expressions when they have anything to say concerning religious matters. This will then avoid religious conflicts that may pose threat to the society. Washingtonpost. On Faith: A Conversation on Religion with Jon Meacham and Sally Quinn question for April 19, 2007. Business Excellence - Essay Example It is in this context that since its inception, the company had been strategically designing its products focussing on the customersââ¬â¢ needs. By adopting the customer centric strategies, Dell was determined to become the low cost leader while providing high value products and services (Dell, 2012). After successfully doing business in the global markets for almost a decade, Dell began facing challenges in terms of competition, rapidly losing its market share and witnessing reduction in its customer bases (Paul & et. al., 2007).
